RIVER COMPUTER LAB
Grand Opening of
Palm River Computer Lab.
September 28th,
2002 marked the opening of the Palm River Project. A computer
learning laboratory donated by Cops and Computers for the
Community Inc., and the Computer
Acquisition and Placement Program Inc.
gives the residents of the Palm River community, in east
Tampa, a facility that has 15 networked Pentium systems
available for use by anyone in the community. Additionally,
the school district has provided a instructor on a daily basis
to coordinate this facility, in conjunction with his teaching
duties.
